Next Season, the Merlin Team Driver Oscar Cabezas will be pit stopping his dad, Alberto Cabezas to race the Serpent F-180 series.
The Merlin staff wishes them good luck for this new challenge.

Cambiando papeles
Desde Serpent, nos informan que uno de nuestros pilotos Merlin, Oscar Cabezas, se convertirá en mecánico de Alberto Cabezas para disputar la próxima temporada con un Serpent F-180.
Así pues, Alberto y Oscar Cabezas intercambiarán sus papeles en las carreras de fórmula.
Suerte en esta nueva temporada.

Nuevo aditivo Starpack
Ahora Merlin incluye en todos sus combustibles el nuevo aditivo STARPACK.
Starpack, es una exclusiva combinación de aditivos que mejora sustancialmente la combustión, evitando la formación de carbonilla y depósitos en el motor y escape. Además cuenta con un modificador de fluidez que garantiza una capa lubricante sobre las partes móviles del motor, asegurando una óptima lubricación, resistencia a la corrosión y mantenimiento de la compresión.
Nuestro departamento técnico está elaborando un exhaustivo informe en el que se dará a conocer la metodología empleada para el desarrollo de Starpack y los resultados obtenidos a través de ensayos prácticos.

Merlin includes now our latest development. Starpack Additive.
Starpack is a carefully selected additive combination that offers increased protection from piston seizure, ring sticking, engine deposits and exhaust blocking.
It also helps to get a Clear burn and contains flow modifiers to assure an optimal piston wetting and lubrication, obtaining a continuous oil film that prevents againsr rust and help glow engines to maintain compression ratio.

Serpent Nations Cup 2007
Last weekend took place the Serpent Nations Cup in Monsanto Circuit (Lisbon).
Spanish 1:10 Team
Merlin Fuel had a Strong presence in the Race, including half 1:8 Netherlands winning Team and 2 drivers in the Spanish 1:10 winning Team.
Netherlands Team took the final victory in 1:8, and Spanish Team took the Victory in 1:10.
Rob Kuyper and Stenley Bauer chose Merlin Fuel to race in Portugal. Rodri Pahissa and Euro 2007 finalist Oscar Cabezas were racing with Spanish 1:10 Team.

Many other drives chose Merlin Fuel for racing in Portugal, such as Ruud Schuitmaker (United Nations), Peteiro (Spanish 1:8 Team), René Corneilla (Austrian Team) or recent Portuguese Champion, Jõao Malveiro.

Copa de Naciones Serpent
El pasado fin de semana, tuvo lugar la copa Serpent de Naciones en el circuito de Monsanto en Lisboa.
Equipo Español 1:10 con Mick Salven
Merlin Fuel tuvo una importante presencia entre los participantes de la prueba, incluyendo los equipos campeones de 1:10 y 1:8
Finalmente la victoria en 1:10 fue a parar al equipo Español, entre cuyos integrantes se encontraban Oscar Cabezas y Rodri Pahissa, ambos con Merlin Fuel.
La victoria en la categoría 1:8 fue para el equipo Holandés. 2 de sus cuatro integrantes escogieron Merlin Fuel para disputar la prueba; Rob Kyuper y Stenley Bauer

Carlos Pineda finishes the Spanish Rally Game Season on 2nd
Last October 28th it took place the last race for Spain Rally Game Nat. Championship at Cerdanyola (Barcelona)
Unfortunately Carlos Pineda wasn´t lucky that day. He could see one of his car wheels flying around the circuit and so, all his possibilities of winning the Championship, faded away.
Despite the accident he managed to finish 5th.

This is the closing Race of national Championship. The final victory at Nat. Championship was for Sergio García and Fco. Javier Saura got a third position. Special mention for one of our friends, Josep Mª Franch. It was his first race at Spanish Nats this year and he managed to finish 8th,
