Irish Nat. Championships 3 Rd.

Over the weekend Merlin driver Clive Connolly dominated the third round of the 2008 Irish National Onroad Championship when he took victory in both the 1:8 and 1:10 200mm A Finals at the St. Annes track in Dubllin. Using Merlin Pro Racing fuel in his IDM powered Serpent 960, the reigning Champion TQ’d the event in 1:8 before going on to win the 30 minute final convincingly setting the fastest lap of the race in the process.

In the 1:10 A Final, Eoin Doran took the TQ with his Merlin fuelled Xray ahead of Connolly but Connolly got the better of Doran to head home an all Merlin Fuel podium with Doran second and the serpent 720 of Chris Lawlor in third.
