El día 27 de abril concluyó la 2ª prueba del cto. de España 1:8 TT celebrada en el circuito de Silla – Valencia.

En esta prueba, hemos asisitido a una de las finales más emocionantes de los últimos tiempos, con los tres primeros clasificados en la misma vuelta y una diferencia entre el 2º y 3er. puesto de apenas medio segundo.

Destacar también el éxito de Roberto Díez «Coyote» que subió al podium en la categoría +40 como tercer clasificado por detrás de Antonio Baldo y José Ramón López Carrillo.Podium Silla M40

Efra Lyon _ Merlin Rc Fuel Podium Borja HernándezThe Efra Buggy GP took place last week in Lyon (France). After heavy rain during the week, Saturday was a beautiful sunny day.

Heating was dominated by Yannick & Jerôme Aigoin, Jerôme Sartel and Jorn Neuman with his Serpent prototype.

Our Team Driver, Borja Hernández was improving until reaching the B half-finals where he found Alex Calatayud, and some strong French Drivers, such as Jérôme Sartel or Jérôme Aigoin.

The track was already dry but it was rapidly degrading , because of the hard rain during the week.

 

Borja managed to finish 3rd in his half-final, reaching the Final access just ahead Jérôme Sartel, maybe a final premonition.

 

Right in the main Final, Borja run 2nd behind Renaud Saboya over 20 minutes. Then he was overtaken in a pit stop by Jérôme Aigoin.

 

After 30 minutes, Borja was 5th qualified behind the favorites group. However they were all running it the same lap.

Efra Lyon _ Merlin Rc Fuel Podium Borja HernándezHoy Domingo, ha concluido el GP Efra celebrado en Lyon. La lluvia constante durante toda la semana dio paso el Sábado a un tiempo más propicio para la celebración del GP.

 

Las mangas fueron dominadas el Sábado por Yannick y Jerôme Aigoin, Jerôme Sartel y Jorn Neuman con su prototipo Serpent. Nuestro Team Driver, Borja Hernández fue subiendo posiciones a lo largo del fin de semana, hasta clasificarse para la Semi final B, donde se encontró también con Alex Calatayud y algunos de los nombres ilustres del Todo Terreno Francés, como Jérôme Sartel ó Jérôme Aigoin.

 

La pista estaba seca, sin embargo se degradaba con facilidad, a causa de la lluvia caída durante toda la semana.

 

Borja, consiguió terminar tercero en su semi-final, logrando de este modo el acceso a la final justo por delante de Jérôme Sartel, tal vez una premonición para la final.

El 6 de abril se celebró en la localidad de Hoek van Holland (Holanda) la primera prueba de la Truggy.nl Cup en el orginal escenario del Hoeske Watersport Vereninging

Contra pronóstico la lluvia no hizo acto de presencia y los participantes en las dos modalidades, «Veteranos» e «Iniciación» pudieron disfrutar de un animado día de carreras con un cielo despejado.

La modalidad de Truggies, está captando un importante número de adeptos en Holanda, gracias, entre otras cosas, a los esfuerzos del portal Truggy.nl y RC-Junkies.com en su promoción y organización de eventos. De este modo se combina el carácter lúdico de la modalidad Truggy con un ambiente Racing y amistoso.

Last March, 16th took place the first round of Spanish 1:8 Off road «B» Championship in Alhaurín de La Torre (Málaga – Costa Del Sol)

 

Juan Manuel Ruíz Romero took the victory, one lap ahead the second classifid.

 

After having been finalist in recent races, both regional and local championships, this victory confirms the great progression of the Hobby Royal Team young talent.

 

It is also noticeable the 9thplace obtained by the very young Vicente Muela, in his first final on a Nat, Championship.

El pasado 16 de marzo, se celebró la 1ª prueba puntuable para el campeonato de España «B» en el circuito de Alahurín de La Torre.

 

Juan Manuel Ruíz Romero, se hizo con la victoria, con una vuelta de ventaja sobre el segundo clasificado. Después de haber sido finalista en varias de las pruebas realizadas recientemente en campeonatos provinciales y en el Reginal Andaluz, esta victoria, refrenda la progresión del joven piloto del Team Hobby Royal.

 

Mencionar también la 9ª plaza lograda por el jovencísimo Vicente Muela en su primera final de un campeonato nacional.

Spanish Cahmpionship up Winner'07Last Sunday, October 21 fthe «Spanish Championships Cup at «Club Modelismo Castilla» wasfinished

 

As every year, the best regular season Drivers of 1:8 Off Road Buggy are participating in this closing season race, coming from all across the country.

 

A.J. Salmerón (Salmi), got the final Victory finishing one lap ahead second classified.

 

Moreover, Salmeron TQ’d and got the fastest lap at the race, establishing a new absolute record at Burgos Circuit.

 

The Final had a heavy participation of Drivers choosing Merlin Fuel to take part at the event. Borja Hernández (8th) and Juanjo Carro who finished 10th.

 

All over the weekend some of the drivers using Merlin Fuel got refuelling times over 9 minutes in the Northern Spain Track.

Borja Hernández will race next season with Merlin Fuel.

 

The Spanish Driver, recently 3rd. qualified in Euro 2007, has decided to run next season with our Fuels.

 

After an intensive test in La Rioja, (Northern Spain) Borja highlighted the tuning stability, reduced consumption togheterwith a low running temperature.

 

He also got surprised with Foam Control Technology.

 

Borja will help our technicians to continue developing new technologies and improving our products continuously.

 

Thanks to his international recognition and wide curriculum, he will be a great ambassador for our high quality fuels in the ultra-competitive 1:8 off road.
