MArk Green wins BRCA 1/8 Rd. 5
Last Sunday the 1/8 BRCA Championship was held in a new facility near Brighton.

«Last weekend, the 1/8th Section visited a new circuit on the South coast of Brighton. The track is formed from a single strip of tarmac with the layout painted over with rope and plastic tubing forming the barriers. In theory, it looked from the outset that the track is too small for the modern day 1/8th chassis but after making the necessary chassis and gear ratio changes, the track became fun to drive. The track is also very smooth so running the car on low tires would help cornering, allow the engine to rev higher along the short back straight and through the infield with no worry of running out of fuel or the chassis bottoming out.
Saturday was a wet day and the track never dried out. A small number of drivers tried wet tyres and then retreated back to the hotels. Andy North decided to do some further
