Last Sunday took place the 1st race for French Nat. Championship 1/8.

Heavy rain did not allow to celebrate the main final, so that the half-final result were taken into account.

It is now about one year since we indtroduced Merlin Advance at Nuremberg exhibition 2010 Thanks to the High Res technology it is becoming more and more popular all over Europe.  Merlin Advance, not only does not leave any deposits or carbon in the engine, it is also cleaning old deposits without affecting the exhaust, and keeping a good compresion.  No doubt it is a step forward in the lubrication technology. We hope this new size will help more drivers to test Merlin Advance and enjoy performance and technology.

Last weekend Nbr Mol organised the final race of their winter blackjack race. Blackjack means heats of 21 minutes for everybody, so no qualifications, finals etc. just 21 minutes of racing. The fastest heat of the weekend would be the winner.

The complete weekend was very wet so all drivers were very happy with the big heated tent Nbr had placed.

Buggy class had 3 heats with Belgian, Dutch and German drivers. Jorg Van Leuken competed all heats with Markus Feldman and Paul Geelen. After 5 heats Jorg Van Leuken managed 31 rounds with only 3 seconds less as Markus Feldman. Paul Geelen toke third place.
The final championship ranking we saw youngster Sander Van Genechten take victory.

Truggy class also had 2 heats with international drivers. Rc-Speedhouse boss Bjorn Nagels won 3 out of 5 heats but had to leave 1st place to Kris Verlies. The final championship was a close battle which Bjorn Nagels won.

Germany Soccer WCup Octopus OracleLast weekend took place the 7th Rd. of  Truggy Cup at Helmond. Coming from Oberhousen where we used to have a good friend (rest in Peace), who predicted the Spanish victory at World Cup, Paul the Octopus.

We do not know for sure if Paul had time enough before dying to predict also Bas De Konik victory in last round.

Unfortunately Helmond track appeared really wet on sunday morning. The attendance was not so high as in previuos rounds, maybe becasue of the weather forecast.

Last Sunday it was the final race of the Exceedcup. With 59 drivers for the last race it’s obvious that the guys from Exceedcup did a good job during the 2010 season.

The fact that hobby and sportsman class already knew their champion before the start of the last race didn’t slow the drivers. The battle for other top places was still going on.

We saw Jeffrey Halsema taking TQ in front of 2010 champion Jorg van Leuken and Paul Geelen.

XC_final

A-final had 10 drivers, all sportsman class with exception of Rene Kuijpers. From the start there was no stopping on Jeffrey Halsema who’s Mugen Mbx6 simply outran the others and who lapped everyone during the race. We saw a battle for second place between Jorg van Leuken and Rene van Schaijk untill mechanical problems forced van Schaijk to drop down. Comfortable second place for van Leuken. Paul Geelen toke third place in front
of Jan Eichhorn and Dave Liekens.

Hobbyclass was won by Rene Kuijpers in front of 2010 champ Jasper van Duppen
