Rally Game en Atenas

El pasado fin de semana, se disputó la Kyosho Cup en el Athens Aspropyrgos ARENA TRACK

Nuestro distribuidor en Grecia, nos informa sobre el resultado de la prueba. Esta era la primera participación de Merlin Fuel en Grecia y los pilotos que usaban Merlin por primera vez, estaban ansiosos por corroborar en carrera las buenas sensaciones que habían tenido en las pruebas previas con los nuevosd Combustibles EVO1.

El resultado final fue:

1st.Abdel Halim Nadir George - Merlin Fuel
2nd.Lignos Akis
3d.Kyritsakis Michael

El really Game es una escala incipiente en Grecia que va adquiriendo protagonismo. El ganadfor final, Geroge Abdel, sorprendió con un motor potente en bajas y muy fiable, sin pasar de 90ºC, cuando la media etre el resto de los finalistas estaba por encima de 115ºC.

Rally Game at Athens

Last weekend took place the Kyosho Cup at Athens Aspropyrgos ARENA TRACK

Our dealer in Greece inform us about the race. This was the first official race in Greece for Merlin Fuel, and they were waiting to this race to confirm the good results in the previous training  tests.

The final results were:

1st.Abdel Halim Nadir George - Merlin Fuel

2nd.Lignos Akis

3d.Kyritsakis Michael

Rally Game is an upcoming scale in Greece. Final winner, George Abdel, surprised rest of finalists running the whole final under 90ºC with great engine power, when the average engine temperature was clearly over  115ºC.

He got impressed with the performance of the new Pro-Racing EVO 1 Fuel, that corroborates the results in previous tests.

Resultados de Merlin Enduro Race 2008

El pasado fin de semana se disputó la “Merlin enduro Race 2008 en el cricuito del club GTB RC de Toulouse (Francia)

La prueba consistía en 2 partes de 3 horas cada una en la modalidad 1:10 200 mm. Total 6 horas de carrera. Sin duda una dura prueba para las mecánica y también para los pilotos.

Tras la disputa de la sesión matianl los resultados provisionales eran;

1/ Team Sapacepa 410 tours
2/ Fashion team 400 tours
3/ Team Gazafond 398 tours

Los resultados finales finalizadas las 6 horas de carrera fueron;

1. GAZAFOND Team 1°/ 794 T 07:29:41.30 ↑
2. SAPACEPA Team 2°/ 792 T 07:30:15.51↓
3. FASHION Team 3°/ 721 T 07:30:14.63↓
4. CHALLENGER Team 4°/ 633 T 07:30:14.38
5. SAUCISSES Team 5°/ 534 T 07:30:17.55
6. CASTELISATORS Team 6°/ 495 T 06:08:45.62

Las 2 vueltas de diferencia entre el primer y segundo clasificado, dan una idea de lo reñido que estuvo el día, en el que se marcó además un nuevo record del circuito.

Merlin Enduro Race 2008 Report

Last weekend took place the Merlin Enduro Race at GTBRCF track in Toulouse.

No doubt it was a hard test for cars, engines and also drivers, making 6 hours over the Frech track. Everything was perfectly organized by the GTB Rc Club and the weather was great for a racing day.
The endurance race was divided in two series of 3 hours each.
After the 3 hours in the morning the provisional results were;

1/ Team Sapacepa 410 tours
2/ Fashion team 400 tours
3/ Team Gazafond 398 tours

After the lunch break the race started again and the final classification was:

1. GAZAFOND Team 1°/ 794 T 07:29:41.30 ↑
2. SAPACEPA Team 2°/ 792 T 07:30:15.51↓
3. FASHION Team 3°/ 721 T 07:30:14.63↓
4. CHALLENGER Team 4°/ 633 T 07:30:14.38
5. SAUCISSES Team 5°/ 534 T 07:30:17.55
6. CASTELISATORS Team 6°/ 495 T 06:08:45.62

So after 6 hours race just 2 laps between the 1st and 2nd classified,

Merlin Enduro Race 2008

Next Sunday, October 26th will take place the «Merlin Enduro Race 2008» in Toulouse - France.
It will be a 3 hour Team Endurance Race. 6 teams with 4 drivers each, will dispute the Trophy.

The race will take place at “Club GTBRC” track in Toulouse.

Merlin Enduro Race 2008

El próximo Domingo, 26 de Octubre, se celebrará en la localidad de Toulouse (Francia) la Merlin Enduro Race 2008

Se trata de una prueba de resistencia por equipos a 3 horas en la modalidad 1/10 200mm.

La carrera tendrá lugar en las instalaciones del “club du GTBRC - base de loisirs de la Ramée” y 6 equipos tomarán la salida.

En este vídeo, que corresponde a la prueba del Cto. Nacional Francés de Marzo de este mismo año, se puede ver el trazado del circuito. Esperamos que el tiempo este fin de semana sea más propicio que el que muestra el video.

6ª Copa Modelis - Leiria - Portugal

El pasado fin de semana se disputó la sexta edición de la copa Modelis en Leiría (Portugal) .

De forma paralela, se corrieron las modalidades 1:8TT y Truggy.

La clasificación tras las mangas clasificatorias quedó encabezada por Rodrigo Luis, segudio de Carlos Durães y Fernando Almeida.

Rodrigo Luis y Carlos Durães tomaron parte en la prueba.

La final fue encabezada en las primeras vuletas por Rodrigo Luis, pero un inicio dubitativo hizo que perdiera posiciones hasta la 4ª plaza, viéndose superado por Carlos Durães.

Sin embrago, Rodrigo fue subiendo posiciones y un fallo en la mecánica de Carlos Durães, le dejó el camino despejado a una victoria clara.

Efra GP - Spain

Last weekend took place the EFRA GP at Orihuela -Spain
The weather forecast was not the best for RC Racing. So just about drivers defied the storm at “El Palmeral” track.
This year the traditional Spanish “Copa de Campeones” took place simultaneously with Efra 1:8th Buggy GP.

The heavy rain was the main player during the first day. It allowed just one heating and calssfications Round.

Borja Hernández TQ’ed for the race, followed by Alejandro Candel, Adrián Pérez Mayoral and Carlos Pineda closing the top-quartet.

GP Efra Orihuela

El pasado fin de semana, se disputó en le circuito de Orihuela el GP Efra 2008.
Con un pronóstico meteorológico poco alentador, cerca de 70 pilotos se dieron cita en el circuito del Club “El Palmeral” para tomar parte en la prueba.
Este año se ha unificado en una prueba la tradicional Copa de Campeones y GP Efra.

Con la lluvia como protagonista en las primeras jornadas, sólo se pudo llevar a cabo una manga de clasificaciones cuyos primeros cuatro puestos fueron:

4. Carlos Pineda
