El pasado fin de semana se disputó la prueba inaugural del cto. de Holanda 1:1 en el circuito de Groningen, al Norte del país.  NK1

El actual campeón Pedro Rombouts, fue el dominador del evento y se impuso en la final, después de conseguir la pole.

La clasificación final fue:

1. Pedro Roombouts –  Xray – 107 laps

2. Ricardo Van Damm – Shepherd/Orion – 104 laps

3. Ruud Schuitmaker – Edam/Merlin Fuel – 103 laps

4. Jurgen Geerligs

5. Arco de Jong

Este año, se ha comabiado el sistema de clasificaciones, de modo que entran 5 clasificados directos a la fina, valorando además las tres mejores vueltas rápidas personales.

Last weekend took place the Italian Efra GP at Fiorano Track.

Lamberto Collari TQ’ed followed by Robert Piestch, Andrea Cristiani and Walter Salemi.

In the final Lamberto Collari, Andrea Cristiani and Robin D’Hondt had the best start, while on the dirty side of the track Walter Salemi managed to overtake Robert Pietsch. After a few minutes Collari was losing some ground due to a broken 2nd gear pinion.Daniele Ileasi Managed to make the whole final without Tyre changing.

Siempre es una buena noticia que se inauguren circuitos de radiocontrol. En este caso el pasado mes de Marzo se inauguró el circuito del club Meruelo RC en San Miguel de Meruelo, Cantabria, coincidiendo con la primera prueba del Cto. Regional Cántabro. A esta prueba acudieron pilotos de Cantabria, La Rioja, Asturias y P. Vasco.

Robin D’Hondt reports from the 1st Round of Netherlands Nats.

The first round of the Netherlands championship was held at the track of Apeldoorn. Weather forecast wasn’t looking good, however it was dry on Saturday rain came on Sunday to bring an interesting scene in the final.

My arrival at the track on Saturday was much later as I wanted it to be due to traffic. I wanted to test many things but in the end I only had 2 hours of testing to make a good setup. The day before I setuped my car with the setup I think would of worked on the track (small track so high droop, much camber change, much offset) and … it worked !

With some minor adjustments to the car I was driving the same laptimes like John Ermen and Rick Vrielinck. So, happy with the cars performance but still having idea’s to make it better we had to call it a day because after 17 o’clock no engines can be started anymore.

Last weeken the Arena Race track in Athens held the 2nd round of the Greek R/C Buggy & Truggy Masters.

Stelios Madianos (Losi – Picco – Merlin Fuel) took the first palce in «B» categoy in both scales buggy and Truggy.

Karousos Aris (Losi – Picco – Merlin Fuel) took the 6th overall place in Truggy scale, in a race where about 35% of drivers chose Merlin Fuel.

El fin de semana pasado se celebró en el circuito del ARENA Racing Club, en Atenas, la 2ª prueba del Buggy y Truggy Masters Griego.

Stelios Madianos (Losi – Picco – Merlin Fuel) se hizo con la victoria en categoría B de las dos modalidades, Truggy y Buggy.

Karousos Aris se hizo con la 6ª posición en una carrera en la que con más de 70 inscritos, cerca de un 35% de los participantes confiaron en Merlin Fuel para disputarla.

Finalizó el pasado fin de semana la primera prueba del Cto. de Cataluña 1:8 TT, que se disputó en el trazado de Sta. Oliva (Tarragona)

La prueba fue íntegramente dominada por Robert Battle que no dio opción a sus rivales, ni en clasificatorias, ni en la final, donde se impuso con claridad.
