Last weekend the last round of Spanish 1/8 Off-Roads Nats was held at Fuencarral (Madrid).

Under a typical a summer weather, 122 drivers took part in the race.

Robert Batlle was the main favorite for the title. A 4th place in the race was enough to secure his 6th Nat Championship. Also Borja Hernández and Richi Gómez were involved in the fight and they had serious options finishing ahead Batlle.

After a discreet first heat, Robert Batlle was first in Q2 and Q3, taking the TQ, followed by Bryan Baldó and Borja Hernández.

A Main final was a close fight between Batlle and Alberto García who was racing at his home track. Finally Robert managed to get a good pace and took some gap over Alberto García who finished second ahead former European Champion Dani Vega, also racing at home.

Last weekend we saw the last race for the 2011 Netherlands 18 Off Road Championship at Pumernend (North  Holland)

Jorg was clear favourite for overall victory, but he still had to place at least 3rd to secure the championship. Jeffrey Halsema, racing at home was the favourite to take the race. However, J. Van Leuken managed to TQ at the very last qualifying  second.

In the final, local driver Halsema confirmed the forecast and took the victory followed for the new Champion, Jorg Van Leuken.

Last weekend was already round 6 of the NK for 1:8 Buggy racers. During qualification there was a fierce battle in between Jorg van Leuken and Bart Mullink which came out in the advantage for Bart.

The finals however were another story and an exiting final was races between Bart and Jorg for which Jorg was simply the fastest with his JQ powered TecnoPower B02T and Merlin Fuel.

Despite the name «summer» the weather was not good, and the heavy rain, made the organizators postpone the race to Oct 1st and 2nd.

However, on mid Sunday the track was allright and there was a lot of drivers willing to race. So that still keeping in mind the new dates, they did a small race with 5 min qualyfing and 30 min. final.

Last weekend Robert Batlle travelled to Viggu (Italy) to take part in the Italian Nats as a guest driver.

He managed to TQ and win the main final.
