Cto. Mallorca TT, victoria de Joan Torrens
Concluye la 6ª prueba del Cto. de Mallorca con una nueva victoria de Joan Torrens.
Los tres primeros clasificados han sido:
1º Joan Torrens /Hobbytech Spirit/GO GX5R/Merlin Fuel
2º Toni Riera /LRP/Os
3º Miguel Sbert /Bergonzoni R1 /Novarrosi
Jorg Van Leuken takes Netherlands 2011 title
Last weekend we saw the last race for the 2011 Netherlands 18 Off Road Championship at Pumernend (North Holland)
Jorg was clear favourite for overall victory, but he still had to place at least 3rd to secure the championship. Jeffrey Halsema, racing at home was the favourite to take the race. However, J. Van Leuken managed to TQ at the very last qualifying second.
In the final, local driver Halsema confirmed the forecast and took the victory followed for the new Champion, Jorg Van Leuken.

Merlin Fuel campeón de Holanda 1/8 TT.
El pasado domingo se celebró la carrera final de el Cto. de Holanda 1/8 TT en el circuito de Pumerend (North Holland).
El campeón de la categoría «A» (Sportsman) estaba aún por decidir, entre Jorg Van Leuken, Paul Geelen y Jeffrey Halsema. Halsema, que vive en Pumerend era el favorito para ganar la carrera y Jorg Van Leuken se proclamaría campeón, no quedando por debajo del 3er. puesto.
Jorg se hizo con la pole en el último suspiro, seguido por Jordy Velder y J. Halsema.
El resultado final de la carrera, confirmó el pronoóstico inicial.

Cto. Cataluña 1/8 TT – 5ª prueba
El pasado fin de semana se disputó la 5ª prueba puntuable para el Cto. de Cataluña TT.

3. Marc Vanrell – Serpent
Con este resultado, Jaume Figuls se asegura el campeonato 2011
Cto. Holanda 1/8 TT – 6 prueba
Este fin de semana se ha disputado la 6ª prueba del Cto. de Holanda TT.
Los 3 primeros clasificados eligieron Merlin fuel Advance para disputar la prueba.

Buggy Cup Netherlands Rd. 6
Last weekend was already round 6 of the NK for 1:8 Buggy racers. During qualification there was a fierce battle in between Jorg van Leuken and Bart Mullink which came out in the advantage for Bart.
The finals however were another story and an exiting final was races between Bart and Jorg for which Jorg was simply the fastest with his JQ powered TecnoPower B02T and Merlin Fuel.

Clear favorite in the beggining, but not so much favorite during qualifications and part of the final, but finally Robert takes the 2011 Euro Championship.

Concluye el Cto. de Europa 2011 con victoria de Robert Batlle. Era el claro favorito, pero nos ha hecho sufrir durante las calsificatorias y durante la final.

Finalmente Robert lo ha conseguido. La final no ha sido nada fácil. Sus compañeros en el Podium, el francés Jêrome Aigoin y el ex-campeón de l mundo Daniel Reckward, eran realmente rápidos. Robert ha tenido varios problemas en la final incluyendo una penalización «stop & go» y un vuelco al adelantar a un doblado (Jerome Sartel).
Sin embargo, Robert tenía un As en la manga. El trabajo realizado con Novarossi poniendo el motor a punto con Merlin Advance, le ha permitido repostar a los 9 minutos, por lo que ha entrado una vez menos que sus rivales en el box, lo que a tenor de la exigua diferencia con el 2º y tercer clasificado ha tenido un peso importante en el desenlace de este apasionante campeonato.
