Last weekend took place the erd round of the Netherland  Nat. Championship in Heemstede, near Amsterdam.

Martin Van Lierop Tq’ed with just a tenth of second ahead 2nd. classified. However he was the unchallegend winner in the Main Final.

Remy  Möller and Dan Jakobs both them with some problems left him to take a comfortable victory.

Ruud  Schuitmaker, finished 2nd followed by Jurgen Geerlings closing the podium,.

Ruud gets a strong position for the Absolute Chamiponship, after his victory in Rd. 2 and his 2nd in the opening race.

Double Victory in IrelandOver the weekend Merlin driver Clive Connolly dominated the third round of the 2008 Irish National Onroad Championship when he took victory in both the 1:8 and 1:10 200mm A Finals at the St. Annes track in Dubllin. Using Merlin Pro Racing fuel in his IDM powered Serpent 960, the reigning Champion TQ’d the event in 1:8 before going on to win the 30 minute final convincingly setting the fastest lap of the race in the process.

Double Victory in Ireland

In the 1:10 A Final, Eoin Doran took the TQ with his Merlin fuelled Xray ahead of Connolly but Connolly got the better of Doran to head home an all Merlin Fuel podium with Doran second and the serpent 720 of Chris Lawlor in third.

“The second round of the Belgian Championship was held at the very nice track of Luxemburg. Nice layout, technical and good grip.Weather could be a little better (sometimes rain) but I had 2 dry qualifies and a dry final so I had a pretty good weekend. I arrived at the track Friday night and qualifies already started Saturday afternoon so I only had Saturday morning to run in an engine and get my setup good. hen I was driving

The second round for the Spanish Nats 1:10 200mm. took place last Sunday in Pinseque (Zaragoza)

Finally the forecast was not right and the rain did not disturbed over 90 drivers in the track.

Podium Catalunya 2008 - Merlin Fuel RC

The 3rd. round of Reg. Catalunya Championship was held last weekend in Ripoll. (The track that held Euros 2006)

Carlos Pineda TQ’ed and got the first place in the starting grid for the main final. After 40 minutes leading the final he suffered several radio problems that made him lose some time. Robert Battle who had some mechanical problems managed to pass Pineda in the last laps.

The final was extremely hard with lot of mechanical problems for many drivers and dropouts.

The Main final was one of the most exciting in the last months. Top three drivers finishing in the same lap within seconds.
