The 2nd Rd. of Spanish Nat Championship, was held in Montjuic track (Barcelona), near the Olympic Stadium.

107 Drivers attended the race. Saturday was sunny and clear with nothing remarkable.
After the qualifying rounds the provisional classification was the following:

On Sunday morning while 1/16th final, the sky turned unexpectedly black and the «great flood» happened over Barcelona track.

The track was half flooded and race director decided to cancel the Race. Some drivers were disappointed because 30 minutes later the Sun appeared again, and they thought they could have completed the race.

Bad Bresig, close to Bonn, held last weekend the 4th round of German West 1:8 Nats.

Saturday was rainy, and no practice or qualifying was possible. The race director decided to offer two practice heats during Sunday Morning, once the track was dry.

Steven Cuypers TQ’ed followed by Tobias Hepp who matched the lap time.

The Main final was quite difficult with lot of incidents that went on after the race itself.TQ Steven Cuypers, had to retire before half time and some other drivers got several collisons.

The opening round of the Spanish 1/8th scale National series was held last weekend at Club Pical Track in Valladolid. The race saw over 70 drivers registered.

The sunny weather all along the weekend let the drivers enjoy a nice racing weekend.

Sergio Montesinos got the TQ during classifications, followed by Victor González, Oscar Cabezas and current Champion Josué Artiles.

Oscar Cabezas had to fight against the clock to set up his brand new Motonica P81, received a few days before the race. The fastest cars (Oscar Cabezas and Josué Artlies)  recorded 104 km/h in the main straight during the A-Final.

Josue Arrtiles and Óscar Cabezas took the first and second position in the very first laps of the main final and the set a peace that none else could follow.

Both them were very close but the tire changing stop was faster for Josue Artiles, who won a few seconds to allow him to face the rest of the race with some  advantage.

Last Sunday the Cerdanyola Modelcar Track, near Barcelona, held the 1st round of the Spanish 1:10 200mm. Championship. The event drew 84 drivers ready to open 2009 season.
Xabier Arana TQ’ed, followed by Rodrigo Pahissa, Iñaky Pahissa and Johnny Pastor, after an intense Qualifying Saturday.

The main Final, was clearly dominated by Iñaky Pahissa who took the first position after the first pit-stop and kept it for the whole race.
The fight for the 2-4th places was very interesting and we saw 5 drivers fighting and swapping positions to reach the honor places. Bad luck for TQ Xabier Arana who lost his 3rd. place 3 minutes before the race Finish. Rodrigo Pahissa was right behind him and took his opportunity to step on the podium together with his brother.

Rodrigo Pahissa, made the fastest lap in Main final and set a new Track laptime record.

Tarbes in Hautes-Pyrénées Area, held last weekend the 3rd. and last Round of the first Rally Game Challenge.

The race was organized by Association Mini Auto Tarbaise. (Ligue 14)

After the 2 previous rounds at Toulouse and Castelsarrasin , the 3rd. Round was definitive to crown the final Champion.

The fight for the overall victory was really open, since over 7 drivers had real chances.

The day was not sunny, but at least not rainy as in 2nd round

The final classification at Tarbes was:

2. Stéphane Mateo –STR8 RG / Go / Merlin Fuel

3. Romuald Derenne – STR8 RG/Novarossi

The 2nd Round of the French Rally Game Challenge, took place Last January, 18th at Castelsarrasin.

The specially wet day turned out every corner in the track into a mini-drifting exhibition.

Jérome Delcourt made the Hat Trick, taking the TQ, Overall fastest lap and final victory.

Stephane Mateo won the first Rally Game Challenge Round last December in Toulouse.
