El pasado fin de semana se disputó en Dormagen la primera prueba para del Cto. Oeste de 1:8 pista alemán, con buenas noticias para Merlin Fuel.

Pole para Tobias Hepp y victoria final para Frank Schewiola
La joven promesa del equipo Merlin en Alemania, Tobias Hepp, se hizo con la Pole position, en una carrera en la que se alternó el buen tiempo con la pista aún húmeda, lo que complicó la conducción en el trazado de Dormagen.

La final con pista húmeda fue realmente difícil y apenas los 4 primeros clasificados pudieron completar la prueba sin incidentes.

La clasificación final:

Last Sunday, took place the Endurance Reg. Championships of Catalunya at RACBSA track near Barcelona.

7 teams with 2 members each, took part in the 3 hours non-stop race. The race was quite difficult due to mud in the track that made difficult the driving for the first half of it.

Carlos Pineda and Josep Galisteo Managed to refuel over 7:30 minutes with the new Merlin Pro-racing EVO 1, what gave them a good advantage for such a long race.

After a fake first start, due to some technical problems, Jaume Figuls/Pedro Villalba took some advantage and they were leading the race.

However they lost the leading position in the first relay, when Pineda/Galisteo started to push hard and they maintained the leading position until the end of the race.

The final classification;

El pasado fin de semana se disputó la última prueba del Cto. de Holanda 1:10 200 mm. en el circuito de Hemmestede.

La final se disputó en mojado y como novedad, hubo un participante descalificado por emplear aditivos para ruedas.

El pasado fin de semana, se disputó la última prueba del Cto. Nacional de Bélgica 1:8 pista.
Robin D’Hondt, sumó una nueva victoria, 4ª en la temporada regular. Robin ya era matemáticamente campeón desde la 5ª prueba, en la que se clasificó en segundo lugar.

Mención especial al jovencísimo Daan Haling, que se hizo con la victoria en la categoría F2, por segunda ocasión esta temporada.

Desde Bélgica, Robin nos manda su visión de la carrera:

«The 6th and last round of the Belgian championship was also held at the track of Charleroi, the original idea was to have this race at the track of Bierset but sadly enough the track had to close its gates for an airport expansion. Friday evening we arrived there, rain was falling out of the skies. Think the gods don’t like me or so, 6 Belgian championships this year => 6 times rain on Sunday or Saturday … Great! La 5ª y última prueba del Cto. de Portugal 1:8 TT se celebró el pasado 7 de Septiembre en el circuito de Torres Vedras, el mismo que acogió este verano la copa RB.

Miguel Matías coronó una estupenda temporada al conseguir la Pole y su quinta victoria de la temporada, que le hace campeón por octava vez desde 1999.

En la final Miguel Matías no dio opción a sus rivales y mantuvo la primera plaza durante toda la carrera. El segundo lugar del cajó fue para el Piloto Merlin Carlos Durães y la tercera plaza fue a parar a un sorprendente Pedro Figueiredo. Rodrigo Luis, por su parte, acusó algún problema de motor que le relegó a la 4ª posición.

Last weekend took place the 2008 RB cup at Torres Vedras (Portugal)

Expert series, with 73 drivers had the largest entries and 15 drivers took part in Pro Series.

Last weekend took place the 4th round of Belgium 1/8 On-Road Championship.Without time to rest after the Euro Championship in Valencia, Robin D’Hondt, managed to take the victory in a hard racing day, clearly conditioned by the scattered showers and changing weather.Here is the full Chornicle: Last weekend the 4th round of the Belgian Championship was held at the track of Roeselare. El pasado fin de semana se disputó en Roselare la 4ª prueba del campeonato de Bélgica 1:8 F1 y F2.

Como viene siendo habitual en Roselare durante las últimas competiciones, la prueba estuvo marcada por la lluvia intermitente. Esto se tradujo en una quimera para los participantes a la hora de  elegir neumáticos.

Robin D’Hondt winning again with Merlin Fuel

Periodos de lluvia de 20 minutos, dejaban la pista en condición húmeda y daban paso a un Sol, que sin calentar demasiado, era suficiente para dejar la pista casi seca.

Gunther Van Staey consiguió la pole con neumáticos de lluvia, seguido por Robin D’Hondt.

Poco antes de la final, apareción de nuevo el íncomodo invitado en forma de chaparrón. Robin D’Hondt montó neumáticos de lluvia instantes antes de darse la salida en le resto de participantes la elección era variada, desde «aqua» hasta ruedas de 33.

Robin tomó pronto ventaja sobre Van Staey que pasó su pequeño calvario por una mala elección de neumáticos que le hizo perder toda posibilidad
