Last week the 3rd. round of Spanish Nats was held at ATV Racing Club in Valladolid.

91 drivers attended the race with a nice sunny weather during the whole weekend except Friday, when a few rain drops appeared. Not enough anyway to disturb the race.

During Saturday Qualifications Robert Batlle was the fastest, followed by Andrés Marcelino and Daniel Bernabé.

Batlle had a trouble in A-Semifinal, and had to fight to keep a 4th place. Finally he got the «5» for the final. Quite unsual for the lastest years.

On A-Final Dani Vega took the lead for the first laps with a close fight with behind for the second place between Ignacio Candel and Andrés Marcelino.

Batlle had to wait 29 laps to get the first position, that was kept until the end of the Race. Daniel Vega crashed against a rolled car in the double jump, saying goodbye to his chance in the race.

With this victory (3/3) Robert Batlle secures 2012 Championship. Congratulations!!!

Se ha disputado en las instalaciones del club ATV de Valladolid, la tercera prueba puntuable para el Cto. de España de 1/8TT.

91 inscritos disfrutaron de un estupendo fin de semana de carreras en la capital castellana.

Durante la sesión del Sábado Robert Batlle fue el más rápido adjudicándose la pole, seguido de Andrés Marcelino y Daniel Bernabé. Sin embargo, en su semifinal, Robert tuivo que tirar de oficio tras tener un problema mecánico a 4 vueltas del final y consiguió clasificarse en 4ª posición.

A la postre lució en la final el dorsal 5 en la final, algo infrecuente desde hace ya mucho tiempo. En la final Robert tardó 29 vueltas en alcanzar la primera posición, plaza que ocuparía hasta la última vuelta. Con esta victoria a falta de la última prueba del próximo , Robert se proclama matemáticamete Campeón de España 2012. Enhorabuena!!!

The 6th round for the dutch nationals took place at the high grip Astroturf track in Haren Germany.
The track was very bumpy because they are also running bigscale on this track. On Saturday there was training it was extreme hot (30 degrees) but still 25 people took this opportunity to train for the race. Everybody looked for an setup for this high grip track, going fast true the chicanes without having traction roll.

At the end of the day most people found a good setup and were making the car ready for Sunday. In the evening we had a nice BBQ it was still very warm, and it didn’t cool down.

Sunday in the morning we started at 10.00 it was already very hot and the people said that it was going to be warmer than the Saturday, and it was true. (they have not spent the summer in Spain)

First round of qualification it was Bart Mullink who took the first place just 0.2 seconds behind him was Kay Koops. Second round of qualification it was serpent driver Kay Koops who took the fastest

The Euros 2102 has finished in Austria with the following result.

A Thrilling final with a hardly disputed 4 laps. Robert Batlle suffered a flameout in pit box, that made him lose too much time to dispute the 1st podium place. So that, together with his team, they decided to keep a consistent peace to secure the third position, and set a comfortable gap with 4th classified (R. Savoya).

So that Robert could not revalidate the last year victory in Germany, but his 3rd place keeps him in the top of European Off Road Specialists.

Finalizó en Austria el Cto. de Europa 1/8 TT.

Una final, que tuvo un final vibrante. En las últimas 4 vueltas Ronnefalk, acusó el desgaste de sus ruedas y la falta de grip, que acabó facilitando el adelantamiento del británico Bloomfield, que acabó imponiéndose por poco más de un segundo.

Robert Batlle, que corría con un aparatoso vendaje en su mano izquierda tuvo una 9inoportuna parada en el carril de boxes, que le hizo perder unos segundos preciosos privándole de la disputa final. Consciente de ello, él y su equipo decidieron aseugrar la plaza en el cajón, mantener la distancia con el 4º clasificado (Savoya)  y esperar algún fallo de los dos pilotos de cabeza.

Se disputó el pasado domingo la 4ª prueba del Cto. de Holanda 1/8 TT el circuito de Appingedam.

Los pilotos Merlin, coparon las 3 primeras plazas del Podium.

Concluyó este fin de semana la tercera prueba del Cto. de España 1:8 pista, marcado por la escasa participación que se vio compensada por el fenomenal ambiente que reinó en toda la prueba y la magnífica organización a cargo del club AJEA.

En clasificatorias, Oscar consigue la Pole-Position en la primera a 10 segundos del siguiente clasificado, por lo que solo vuelve a salir en la cuarta y en la quinta para preparar los motores para el día siguiente, nadie fue capaz de acercarse, quedando el siguiente al final a más de cuatro segundos. En la cuarta, consigue el récord de la pista en 16:320. Óscar se impuso en la semifinal con el mejor tiempo de ambas, saliendo con el número uno a pesar de un vuelco. En final nadie pudo con Oscar manteniéndose en cabeza desde el principio hasta el final sacando más de una vuelta al segundo clasificado, consiguiendo además la vuelta rápida de la final. PICT8560 A falta de la última prueba que se disputará en Gijón, hay tres aspirantes al título final, Óscar Cabezas, Nacho López y Sergio Montesinos, aunque éste último no depende de sí mismo para adjudicarse el campeonato. Óscar completa un fin de semana redondo para Merlin Fuel, al ganar el mismo día el Cto. España 1/8 TT con Robert Batlle y el Cto. de España 1/8 Pista.
